Context:

We are looking for an experienced VDI Engineer for a mission within a bank. The candidate must possess deep expertise in virtual environments and VMware Horizon administration.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience: 5 to 7 years minimum

Main Responsibilities:

• Administration and optimization of VMware Horizon VDI infrastructure
• Unified Access Gateway configuration and maintenance
• Management of virtual desktop pools (instant, dedicated, floating)
• vSphere and vCenter administration
• App Volumes lifecycle management
• VDI application troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Windows 10/11 VDI image management
• Incident support and daily operations in production environment
• Integration with Active Directory and other infrastructure components

Required Profile:

• VDI Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience
• Proven expertise in virtual desktop infrastructure
• Experience in banking or regulated environments (advantage)

Technical Expertise Required:

• VMware Horizon: Administration (Instant Clones, Dedicated/Floating Pools, Connection Servers)
• Unified Access Gateway: Configuration and troubleshooting
• vSphere/vCenter: Administration
• App Volumes: Lifecycle management (Writable Volumes, AppStacks)
• Systems: Windows 10/11 VDI (image management and optimization)
• Performance: Monitoring, connection performance optimization
• Integrations: Active Directory, certificates, network components
• Support: Daily operations management, incident handling, production support
